Following the powerful 300,000-strong March for Humanity in Sydney early August, Palestine solidarity groups across Australia have announced a nationwide day of action on Sunday 24 August 2025.
Rallies will be held in major cities and regional centres across the country, with thousands expected to take to the streets to demand:
-
An end to the starvation and genocide in Gaza
-
That the Australian government impose sanctions on Israel
-
An immediate halt to arms sales to Israel
Organisations across Australia have already endorsed the March for Palestine, with more joining each day.
This is a critical moment to show unity and amplify the call for justice. Together, Australians will send a clear message: end the genocide, impose sanctions, stop the arms trade.
