O sages illumined by God`s light,

come here so that we may transcend

the bewilderment of the times with its violence,

its thirst for power, and its destruction,

and make manifest the ways of peace.

Then may the divine light change us,

and move us to trust and co-operation.

Then we shall advance, and our land

be a place where our minds are swept

by the winds of the spirit,

making us beacons of hope.
