A sonnet on prep for the world hereafter

By Abdul Muqtadar SYED | 3 Mar, 2025 | Lifestyle, Poem | 1 |

Every season has got a reason behind the treason

Not just to remind the human but also to warn

Lo! This world is not going to be everlasting

Thy haste, hate, greed just maketh a waste

Thou attitude, gratitude, solitude may go astute

Our meeting with God the Omnipotent is fixed

So, be humble, courteous & kind

For you shall escape the torment of hell fire, and taste the treasures in the gardens of Eden

Whose angels await to welcome thee in paradise!
