We think we write we pray
We draw we write poetry
We sing we demonstrate
Through art and craft we try communicate
We are appalled at
how they are treated
We refuse to accept
How humanity that existed
Has now totally disintegrated
We are shell shocked
Our souls have been rocked
Yet they live it
They strive
They get killed
They are martyred
They have won it
We have lost it
We are helpless
We couldn’t stop it
They are in heaven
Are we complicit
In this propaganda
In this cynicism
Where no criticism
Of power led fascism
With laser sharp racism
Created mayhem without criticism
Of disbelief in this genocide
Helpless elderly targeted and also infanticide
Blocking water,aid and medicine is not criticised
Wiping out aid is so un solemnised
Appalled at making them weaponised
Why are we spectators so unharmonised ?
