The Creswalk 2025 event was successfully held on Sunday 5 October at Berrinba Wetlands attracting a total of 257 registered participants.

The day was marked by strong community participation, fun, and a shared commitment to health and togetherness.

Each participant received a commemorative medal, while trophies were awarded to winners in each age category.

CresWalk offers two distances, including 5km and 2.5km routes, with participants running, walking, strolling or rolling — everyone was welcome, including people using prams, wheelchairs or other mobility aids

Queensland Muslims Inc (QMI) extends its sincere appreciation to the Sadaqa Welfare Fund for their generous sponsorship, and to supporting partners — the Queensland Human Rights Commission (QHRC) and the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) — for their collaboration in promoting inclusion and wellbeing.

Grateful thanks also go to the Bangle Foundation and their team for providing a wonderful breakfast, and to Kellys Distributors for their thoughtful donation of water.

Special thanks to Moorooka Dental, Health Squared, Sams Pizzas for their donations of prizes and gift vouchers to the lucky prize winners.

The Haji Ebrahim Patel Memorial Trophy was awarded privately on Creswalk day to Muslim Funeral Services for their compassionate service in conducting the final rites for community members who have passed away.

QMI warmly acknowledges the invaluable contributions of all volunteers, whose efforts ensured the smooth running and success of the event.
