Yuko Kyuoku, a NY-based contemporary Japanese artist and art therapist, held her first solo exhibition in her hometown, Owariasahi City, Aichi, Japan on Thursday 27 February 2025. The exhibition was held at The Pwariasahi Bunkakaikan.
Through her artworks, Yuko expresses the beauty of everyday life. Her subject matter varies from people, the palace and experience she has in her everyday life and make ordinary experience extraordinary by vividly capturing in her artworks.
“I really enjoy expressing the beauty and appreciation of everyday life through my work” Yuko said
Yuko Kyutoku holds a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Addiction Counseling. She currently works at Children’s Hospital in NYC.
