God zone New Zealand
God created a land
With beautiful terrain
the loveliest flora therein
Just as great fauna
Perfect as a picture
To end in stamp collections
This is our land
God zone New Zealand
Then he chose the best of the best
From what’s called the human race
Placed them proudly in there
Tested them for patience and care
Our brethren saying grace
Side by side in preface
To a kinder human race
Joining in love and peace
Expressing love, not hate
Until one day consumed by hate
In cold blood they lost their lives to martyrdom
As was their fate
Oh NZ! You handled fate
Exemplifying what’s a mate
Oh crikey! You are great
Values you have
Are so very mine
In this cruel world
May you shine!
You aren’t the land down under
Invert the map
You are on top
Kia kaha
Stay on top
Fell in love with you long long ago
Lived and loved in you not so long ago
Miss you miss you
Wish I was there!
I so much care
To wipe your tears
And mend those fears.
