The blood of martyrs was shed for what?
The bones and flesh were shredded by bombs for what ?
Whose bread and butter are the war machines
What sort of bed have you made to lie on?
Do the bodies of martyrs make better fossil fuels?
To make that gas to fill your cars
In the oils that make your soaps and lotions
In lipsticks creams and medicinal potions
In aeroplane fuels and other hydrocarbons!
Shame on this precious blood you shed
Of elderly men women and children bereft
Left them to die in gutters of blood
Grass to eat cause you left no trees
They are not called survivors
They are called left overs
In God’s heaven these martyrs are
Enjoying the fate they deserved
While may the oil in your cars and your planes and your make up and your toiletries haunt you to leave your war loving dark ways
May you see the light through darkness
Cause the blood of martyrs wasn’t shed for nothing
They should be laughing at you and your ways
May you learn and change your destructive ways
Or may you never Rest In Peace
