Meri Pehchan Pakistan Inc conducted its 8th event to mark the 76th Independence Day of Pakistan on Sunday 13th August 2023 in Sydney, Australia.

The event was attended by Australian Senator David Shoebridge, Senator Mehreen Faruqi, Nathan Hagarty MP, Deputy Consul General of Pakistan, Ms Saima Jamil and many other distinguished guests.

The event showcased Meri Pehchan Pakistan’s signature segments including Quiz Competition, Speech Competition and Character Parade in which children demonstrated their knowledge about Pakistan’s history, personalities and facts.

This year Meri Pehchan Pakistan conducted 3rd Pakistani Youth Talent Awards to acknowledge the efforts of Pakistani children and youth who are achieving in various walks of life.

The awards were hosted by the Co-Founder of the Pakistani Youth Talent Award Ms Daniya Syed, who is the winner of several awards concerning her technological achievements and community work.

Awards were presented to the winner of 9 different categories including Academics, Sports, Leadership, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Technology & Innovation, and Religious Studies while Finalist medallions were presented to 27 finalists from these categories. MPP received over 100 nominations for these awards from the Pakistani community in Australia.

The Founders and President of Meri Pehchan Pakistan Mr Syed Atif Faheem & Erum Atif briefed about the vision and objectives of Meri Pehchan Pakistan and its been successful in achieving those.

All the proceeds from this event will be donated to various charities in Pakistan.


The culmination of the event featured a distinctive theatrical presentation titled “فٹ پاتھ کے موتی” by the Meri Pehchan Pakistan team. This performance vividly depicted the lives of underprivileged street children and their unwavering quest for education.

The event received massive appreciation from attendees and special guests.
