The nationwide Annual Islamic Quiz was conducted on Saturday 22 July 2023 in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth on the same day organised by various state chapters of Islamic Forum for Australian Muslims ( IFAM).IFAM has been organising Islamic Quiz competitions for kids in Australia for more than a decade now, the main aspiration behind is to make our kids aware of Islamic knowledge and their responsibilities for being practicing Muslims.

This was the first Quiz after COVID pandemic where kids were called to attend in person at designated locations at all the four locations.
More than 110 kids were registered for this Quiz with different age groups challenged with different kind of questions and assessments pertaining to their age groups including written, oral and Kahoot testing of the kids in a competitive way.
In Sydney this Quiz was arranged at Western Sydney University (WSU), Parramatta campus, in Canberra at the University of Canberra, in Melbourne at La-Trobe University, Bundoora Campus and in Western Australia at William Langford Community House in Langford.

There were four age groups (A, B, C & D) formed for this Quiz ranging from Year 1 to year 10 of School grade study. All groups were tested with separate kind of questions with respect to their ages and capabilities etc.

The winners will be given prizes such as Umrah ticket, laptops etc in a separate ceremony in coming days. All the participants, however were presented with gift packs for their encouragements and motivation.

IFAM had also collaborated with Islamic organisations like Post Graduate Islamic Studies Network of WSU so that the Quiz could be delivered in a professional, proficient and convenient way for our kids ensuring better experience and learning outcomes.
The Quiz sessions were addressed by notable speakers including Dr Jan Ali, Mr Junaid Amjad and Dr Rizwan.
Dr Jaan Ali, senior lecturer in the University of Western Sydney. is a well known sociologist specialising in Islam who is known for his exceptional work on various sociological studies in human societies and their Islamic aspects for peaceful human existence in the world.
He has published several international papers and has given lectures at various international and national distinguished locations including government and non government organisations.
Similarly Mr Junaid Amjad and Dr Rizwan are qualified professionals and have done research in political sciences and Islam.
The speakers congratulated IFAM for taking this important initiative and playing a significant roles in the Islamic education of our kids.They highlighted various aspects of Islamic knowledge and encoded their relevance in our daily lives. They advised kids to take this opportunity and enhance their Islamic knowledge which would mould them into a good Muslims and good human being as well.
