The Aleppo is drenched in blood,
As the bombs come down nonstop,
And the guns are constantly fired.

So countless men and women,
Young and the old,
Boys and the girls,
Toddlers and the infants,
And the ones in the wombs,

Are constantly perished
but for no fault of their own,

You may ask:
‘What right does any have
under whatever pretext,

To maim and kill,
Destroy and pulverize,
Create terror and fear
in the heart and mind!

So, what happened to the humans,
Created in the best of the mold,
With the knowledge of right and wrong,
and that of the sin and piety!’
