The lonely pink rose not so gained in size
is seen to stay in pace at the head of the
rose plant.
Held in the garden bed by the northern side
of the house not far from the brick wall
made of clinker bricks.
In the company of gardenia and the jujube,
orange and loquat, pomegranate and mandarin,
camellia and the cactus tree, cactus and the
sawtooth fern.
But when the winter is gone for the spring
to make the reign, the rose plant is expected
to abound in flowers as would its neighbors.
