The school holidays became a little more colourful for local children when Multicultural Mailer Inc hosted its Kids Holiday Workshop in Hillcrest, bringing children and families together for a joyful morning of creativity, learning and community connection.
Held in Brisbane on Wednesday 1 July at 4 Ponderosa Street, Hillcrest, QLD, the workshop provided children with an opportunity to step away from their usual holiday routine and enjoy a welcoming environment filled with art, colour and fun.
The program was designed not only to entertain children during the school holidays but also to encourage creativity, confidence, social interaction and friendship.

The highlight of the morning session was glass painting, where children had the opportunity to discover their inner artist and create their own colourful designs. With plenty of imagination and enthusiasm, the young participants transformed their ideas into beautiful pieces of artwork.
Alongside glass painting, children enjoyed a variety of colourful creative activities and opportunities to interact with other participants. The atmosphere was lively and positive, with children sharing ideas, laughing together and proudly showing their creations to parents, families and friends.
For Multicultural Mailer Inc, the workshop was also about creating a space where families from different cultural and community backgrounds could come together.
School holiday activities can provide an important opportunity for children to make new friends, develop new interests and feel more connected to their local community.

Parents and families played an important role in making the morning special. Their encouragement helped create a supportive environment where children felt comfortable expressing themselves and trying something new.
Snacks were also provided, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the social side of the morning.
Multicultural Mailer Inc. believes community programs for children can make a meaningful contribution to building stronger and more connected communities.
Creative activities provide children with opportunities to express themselves while developing patience, concentration, communication and confidence.
The workshop also demonstrated that meaningful community engagement can begin with something as simple as children sitting together, sharing colours, exchanging ideas and creating something they are proud to take home.
Multicultural Mailer Inc extends its heartfelt thanks to all the children, parents, families, volunteers and team members who contributed to the success of the Kids Holiday Workshop.

It was particularly inspiring to see so many young artists enthusiastically exploring their creativity and creating beautiful memories together.
The success of the program reflects Multicultural Mailer Inc’s ongoing commitment to supporting multicultural families and providing inclusive activities that encourage participation, connection and a sense of belonging.
Through initiatives such as the Kids Holiday Workshop, Multicultural Mailer Inc hopes to continue creating opportunities where children and families can connect, learn, celebrate creativity and strengthen relationships within the wider community.
