Inevitably, the Executive Council of Australian Jewry’s local war risked becoming a pogrom against Muslims.

Australians celebrate multiculturalism, yet Muslims remain the exception. For decades, popular media and politicians have conditioned the public to fear them.

And assimilation has long been a rite of passage: European migrants in the 1950s and 60s, and later Asian communities, were expected to prove they were “us,” not “them.”

Despite being among the most frequent victims of religious hate crimes in Australia (2025 reports), Muslims receive no protection from Islamophobia under the Commonwealth law, including the recent hate speech and anti-extremism legislation.

Senator Dave Sharma has claimed Islamophobia does not exist. Perhaps he meant Muslims don’t exist for him and his Zionist friends. Expanded anti-Semitism definitions now shield genocidaires from criticism, while Muslim voices are criminalised.

Town Hall put the cap on it. Herzog’s event in Sydney concluded around 9:30 PM. Attendees were asked by police to remain in the venue for approximately 30 minutes. This was the catalyst for the cops to clear the streets. They were literally throwing Muslims off the streets so Jews could walk there.

Social cohesion has become an equation formulated to exclude Muslims and the friends of Palestine. United Nations Special Rapporteur, Ben Saul, says they have made NSW one of the most draconian anti-protest jurisdictions in the democratic world. It’s also has one of the most Zionist Jewish communities in the world.

As they sang sad songs at the Opera House, many of the Chabad’s children were allegedly in Gaza and the West Bank committing atrocities that are never reported.

People from one side of Sydney have been sending their children to murder the families of Australians on the other side of the city. Palestinian–Australian Issam Hijazi, says he lost more than 60 of his relatives in Gaza.

Speaking against genocide has made many campaigners targets. Here is the story of my friend Theo.

In January 2024, Theo Nolan-Isles was targeted for flying a Palestinian flag at his home. An explosive device was left on his car, followed by threatening phone calls.

Police confirmed the device was real, yet it took eight weeks — and questioning in Senate Estimates by the Greens — for the perpetrator to be arrested. He received minor charges and a short sentence.

When Theo publicly criticised the police response, they raided and arrested him. He left town.

In January this year, after posting a satirical comment on X, he was arrested again under Federal Labor’s ‘extremism’ amendments. Bail was refused, and he remains in custody awaiting trial on March 23.

He has since been transferred repeatedly between correctional centres, disrupting his access to lawyers and medical care.

In today’s Australia, a bomb threat can be minimised — but a tweet can upend a life. It depends on your feelings about the estimated 200,000 Gazans murdered and lying under the rubble of their former homes.
