Visitors can explore a wide range of market stalls as well as international food stalls offering Turkish, Indian, Lebanese, Japanese, Pakistani and many other cuisines. Families can enjoy carnival rides catering to all ages as well as free showground entertainment such as camel rides, train rides, face painting and rock climbing.

Sporting highlights include:

Live cultural performances and community stalls will further showcase the diversity that defines western Sydney.

MEFF President Aamir Ahmad said the festival continues to reflect the strength and unity of Australia’s multicultural community.

“MEFF is more than just a festival – it’s a celebration of our community’s rich cultural diversity and resilience,” Mr Ahmad said. “For over 40 years, this event has brought Australians together in the spirit of Eid. We are proud to welcome people from all walks of life to share in the food, performances and activities that make MEFF so special.”

Organisers also acknowledged the vital role of sponsors in sustaining the festival’s long-standing success.

“We are proud to have such a strong lineup of sponsors and partners who share our vision of promoting cultural understanding and community engagement,” organisers said. “Their support has been instrumental in making MEFF a success, and we look forward to welcoming them and the community to Fairfield Showground on 22 March.”
