Multicultural Mailer Inc has successfully delivered the 4th Multicultural Career & Job Expo 2026, bringing employers, training providers, government services, community organisations and job seekers together under one roof at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 26 August 2026.

With 70+ exhibitors and employers and more than 800 job opportunities promoted, the Expo has become much more than an annual employment event. It is a practical bridge between opportunity and the culturally diverse communities of Logan and surrounding areas.

From 10 am, job seekers had the opportunity to meet employers and recruiters face-to-face, explore career pathways, discuss training opportunities and connect directly with organisations that could support their employment journey. The program specifically provided for continuous interviews and employer engagement, creating opportunities for conversations that can lead to real employment outcomes.

A major strength of the Expo was the diversity of participating organisations. Employers, education and training providers, employment services, government agencies and community organisations were represented across the venue. Exhibitors included organisations from health, community services, retail, transport, education, trades, security, government and many other sectors.

For many people from multicultural and migrant backgrounds, entering the Australian workforce can involve challenges beyond simply finding a vacancy. Understanding recruitment processes, developing professional networks, identifying suitable training and having the confidence to approach employers can all be barriers.

The Multicultural Career & Job Expo helps reduce those barriers by creating a welcoming environment where people can meet recruiters directly, ask questions, discover pathways and make valuable connections.

The significance of the event was also reflected in the involvement of community leaders, government representatives, sponsors and partners. The day’s official Appreciation Ceremony included addresses from Treasurer of Australia Dr Jim Chalmers MP, Senator Paul Scarr, Rowan Holzberger MP, local councillors, sponsors and community representatives, followed by recognition of sponsors, community partners, organising committee members and volunteers.

The Expo was made possible through the collective efforts of exhibitors, volunteers, staff, community partners and supporters, demonstrating what can be achieved when government, business and community work together.
