In 2026 Australia will witness the launch of a path‑breaking faith‑aligned business summit for Muslim professionals.

The inaugural Elevate: Muslims in Business 2026 – founded by Brisbane‑based Zahra Towner – will take place from 30 April to 3 May at the luxurious InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, bringing together over 150 Muslim entrepreneurs, company directors and emerging leaders for leadership workshops, expert talks, halal‑friendly networking and community‑focused business growth in a setting that honours Muslim identity and values (Elevate Summit).

Elevate was conceived after noticing that many Muslim professionals felt unable to fully participate in mainstream business events without down‑playing their faith. She shares that a pivotal moment came during a client conversation: the client admitted they had never felt comfortable being openly Muslim at any business conference.

That realisation inspired the creation of a values‑conscious environment where attendees can “learn, grow, and build lasting relationships – all while feeling completely at ease”

The summit’s design reflects the practical needs and spiritual preferences of its participants. It includes halal catering, prayer‑friendly scheduling, dedicated daily prayers, halal dining, and even childminding, all delivered within a premium retreat experience.

Elevate is hosted at Hayman Island, part of the magnificent Whitsundays, ensuring both luxury and convenience for Muslim professionals seeking community, clarity, and confidence in their work life

Over the three days, participants will experience tailored sessions including leadership development, industry insights, networking lunches, panel discussions and mentoring opportunities with seasoned Muslim business leaders and directors.

The summit emphasises identity-driven leadership, strategic business growth, and the forging of meaningful partnerships – all anchored in Islamic ethics and professionalism

The long term vision for  Elevate is  to become more than an annual gathering and to evolve into a sustained platform for ongoing professional and spiritual growth in the Australian Muslim business community.

Elevate represents a fresh chapter in the Australian Muslim business landscape – a professional event crafted by Muslims, for Muslims, where authenticity and ambition meet.

For many attendees, it won’t just be four days in paradise – it could become a launchpad for bold ideas, leadership confidence, business growth and lifelong networks–all in an environment designed to honour their spiritual identity.
