بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم
1. Do not touch in the state of impurity (i.e. maintain Taharah & Wudhu) Chapter 56; Verse 79
2. So, whenever you intend to recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the outcast (the cursed one) i.e. say the isti’adah/Tawudh i.e. Aaudhu billahi minash Shaitaan-nir-rajeem; Chapter 16; Verse 98 and then say the tasmiah also i.e. Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Raheem at the beginning. Chapter 96; Verse 1
3. And read the Quran (aloud) in a slow (pleasant tone) style. Chapter 73; Verse 4
4. And when the Quran is recited, listen to it carefully, and be silent so that you may receive mercy. Chapter 7; Verse 204
5. There are 15 verses / aayaahs in the whole Quran that compels us to prostate / do Sajdah during the recitation.
The verses of Sujud At-Tilawah i.e. a sajdah must be done mandatorily at the end of their recitation that are indicated/inscribed beside them are as follows: 7:206, 13:15, 16:49, 17:107, 19:58, 22:18, 22:77, 25:60, 27:25, 32:15, 38:24, 41:37, 53:62, 84:21, 96:19
