Anger within control has benefits, but anger without control has no benefits at all.
That is why we find in the holy Quran the clear message from Allah All-Wise about the anger control and the benefits of anger control. For example, holy Quran states,
ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِى ٱلسَّرَّآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَٱلْكَـٰظِمِينَ ٱلْغَيْظَ وَٱلْعَافِينَ عَنِ ٱلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ١٣٤
˹They are˺ those who donate in prosperity and adversity, control their anger, and pardon others. And Allah loves the good-doers. (Quran 3:134)
I was privileged to deliver a few lectures at An-Nur Masjid in Christchurch on the topic of anger control in Islam. That opportunity encouraged me to study more on this topic and then to share it with others as reminder.
Then the idea of writing a book on it developed and I have tried my best to write about it in the book namely Anger Control in Islam.
I pray to Allah to accept my effort, and I hope that it will be beneficial for the reminding the believers.
