Dawat-e-Islami, is one of the largest religious corporate organisation with a mission statement “I must try to reform myself and the people of the entire world”.
It has its physical presence in 57 countries, while through its TV channel known as “MADANI CHANNEL”, the message has reached over 190 countries through 6 satellites and internet.
Dawat-e-Islami is currently serving in 108 departments, with educational, rehabilitation of society ethics and welfare activities are priority, it has emerged to be an international welfare organization during COVID-19 Pandemic.
Dawat-e-Islami’s work was recognized by BBC including many other international and Pakistani news media.
Dawat-e-Islami Australia Limited is the charitable not for profit organisation working for welfare of community Australia wide and internationally.
It has been registered since 1998 in Australia catering for local needs of the community. It aims to promote harmony and cohesion, inclusiveness, Australian customs and values, sense of cultural belonging whilst recognising and appreciating greater diversity which is beauty and integral part of Australian society.
It is currently providing services like”
- Jumah Prayers at least at 6 locations across NSW and Victoria.
- Social gatherings on weekly, monthly and on special occasions like Eid in order to maintain and promote community harmony, sense of cultural belonging, identify those needing help etc.
- Weekend Islamic School for children (face to face and online) Australia wide.
- Teaching basic essentials of Islam to children in evenings in NSW and Victoria.
Dawat-e-Islami Australia aims to expand its services in response to high community demand.
Due to growing demand of community, there has been dire need of Islamic centre where community welfare activities to cater all aspects of life, irrespective of age and gender, can be accomplished.
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, it has been successfully able to secure a bid worth $3.5 million at 7 Everly Road, Auburn, NSw 2144 with land area of 1430 sq metres in industrial zoning area.
It aims to establish a place of worship, an integral and essential part of a Muslim, along with range of activities of community upliftment.
Dawat-e-Islami has a long and wide track record on a global level:
Dawat-e-Islami runs round the clock Madani Channel in three different languages, English, Urdu and Bangla. It is striving to launch Islamic channel for children as soon as possible.
It is also active via 60 different social media accounts, including Facebook (20 Million Followers), Twitter (400K Followers), Instagram (1.5 Million Followers), YouTube (3 Million Followers) and WhatsApp (100k Group Members).
Dawat-e-Islami’s IT department has developed more than 35 Android and IOS mobile applications. Official websites for different departments and countries are also active to provide up to date information.
Jamia-Tul-Madinah (Aalim course- Islamic Scholar course)
Currently, 840 Jami’at (Islamic Teaching Institutions) by the name of ‘Jami’a-tul-Madinah’ have been established by the organisation globally (including UK, USA and Europe) where more or less 62000 brothers and sisters are being educated free of cost (with boarding and lodging facilities, wherever necessary).
Madrassa-Tul-Madinah ( Quran course)
Currently, approximately 4000 Madaris-ul-Madinah (for boys & girls) are operating. More than 172,000 boys and girls are being taught Hifz(Quran memorisation) and Nazirah(Quran recitation) in these institutions free of charge. To date, about 87000 students have completed their Quran memorisation course.
Dar-ul-Madinah Islamic School System
Dar-ul-Madinah International Islamic School System has set an objective of improving conventional academic studies in conformity with Islam. It is one of department functioning under Dawat-e-Islami.
This education system is to help students learn and thrive to the best of their abilities within the boundaries of Islam. It also aims to develop an environment where Islamic values shall be honoured in all management, curriculum, and teaching practices. Dawat-e-Islami has 85 operational campuses of Dar-ul-Madinah in different countries including UK and USA.
Construction of Masajid
The organisation is active in building places of worship, last year, Dawat-e-Islami constructed about 600 new places of worships.
