National Sikh Council Of Australia, in collaboration with the  members of the Sikh  community in Australia is celebrating the 550th  birth anniversary of the founder of the Sikh faith , Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on Saturday  13 April 2019  in the Don Moore Community Centre Carlingford NSW.

The Council has invited  Sikh scholars from overseas  to present their research papers on the philosophy and teachings of Guru Nanak and it will be of interest to the Interfaith people to listen to one of the renowned Sikh Scholars Dr Kazi Nurul Islam, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Philosophy in Dhaka University who  introduced Comparative Religion  as a Compulsory Course and started teaching Sikhism.
