He further added, “Remember that at Western Grammar School, we have strived to instil in you not just academic knowledge, but the values and manners that will help you become better Muslims and best human beings, with exemplary ikhlaq (character).

“You are the ambassadors of WGS, and your success is our pride and it is our hope and expectation that, InshaAllah, you will carry forward the vision and values of this institution where your contributions to society will be the true measure of the success and impact of WGS,” Mr Afzal concluded.”

Mr Subhan Ali, Chairman of the school board of WGS, during his address showed his appreciation of the contribution of the teachers and senior management led by Mr Irfan Afzal for the great strides made by WGS through the years and shared his vision for further development, growth and excellence in future.

Among the program’s highlights was the recognition of individual student accomplishments, with Musab Shaikh being honoured as the school’s Dux for 2024, and several other students celebrated for achieving impressive subject ranks.
