The success of The Amazing Travels of Ibn Battuta was made possible through the generous support of the Community Cohesion & Support Program (CCSP), City of Whittlesea, and SalamFest, in collaboration with Al Siraat College. Their dedication to promoting cultural understanding and community engagement was evident throughout the event.

Ibn Battuta’s travels, spanning over 120,000 kilometers and covering regions from North Africa to China, are a testament to his adventurous spirit and profound curiosity. His detailed accounts offer a window into the diverse cultures and societies of the world between 1325 and 1354. His remarkable journey lasted for nearly 30 years, during which he explored a vast part of the Islamic world and beyond.
Al Siraat College’s production not only celebrated this extraordinary legacy but also served as an educational tool for young Muslims bringing history to life, combining education and cultural appreciation. By immersing the community in the rich heritage and adventurous spirit of one of history’s greatest travellers, the college has created an inspiring and memorable experience for all involved.
