Faith leaders joined the Premier of NSW Chris Minns and members of his team at the NSW Faith Communities Dinner on Tuesday 3 October at Waterview, Sydney Olympic Park to reiterate interfaith cooperation while working closely with the government to serve the people of NSW.
The event was hosted by Faith NSW ‘Better Balanced Futures’ representing the united faith communities of NSW including followers of Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims and other religions.
In addition to the Premier of NSW Chris Minns, speakers at the event included Better Balanced Future executives including Murray Norman, Presbyterian, CEO, Better Balanced Futures, Darren Bark, Jewish, Co-Chair, Better Balanced Futures, Surinder Jain, Hindu, Co-Chair, Better Balanced Futures, Sheikh Shadi Alsuleiman, Muslim, Secretary Co-Chair, Better Balanced Futures and Bishop Michael Stead, Treasurer, Co-Chair, Better Balanced Futures.
The event provided an opportunity for faith leaders to mingle over during a formal dinner and listen to each others views and concerns in order to make NSw a peaceful society.
