About: MWA is a non-profit service that offers non institutional, non-judgmental programs and activities. They operate a 24 hour crisis/supported accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence or in crisis. The philosophy of the centre is to provide a quality service where women and children can feel safe, secure and be encouraged to gain information and access to resources that allow them to feel empowered to make decisions to take control of their lives.

Islamic Women’s Welfare Association

About: IWWA runs programs and services that cater for approximately 150 women and 300 children each week. Some of these activities include offering playgroups, pre kindy classes, programs for teenage girls, Arabic language classes, Qur’aan memorisation and tajweed classes, welfare and referral services for women and refugees, information sessions as well as social events and school holiday activities.

Wire Women’s Information

About: WIRE Women’s Information is the only statewide free, confidential information & referral service for Victorian women. The organisation aims to be inclusive of women from all backgrounds and experiences by creating an environment which is free of exploitation and discrimination.
