Event Details

Come get your feast on! After the overwhelming response last year Middle Eats and COMMUNE are bringing Eid back to the city for a night of amazing Middle Eastern food, markets, music, photography and art.

Building on last year’s event, we’ve got even more food stalls, more space, limited ticket sales and an exciting smorgasboard of Arabic entertainment TBA!

Eid means festivity and feast and marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting. Ramadan allows people to feel what it’s like to go without; encouraging generosity, empathy for those less fortunate and an appreciation of what one already has. Eid is often celebrated with family, friends and neighbours, all coming together over great food made with love.

We welcome all communities to share in this holiday with us on Friday August 4th at 901 Bourke St Waterloo.
