Mike Carlton leaves the Herald

Mike Carlton last month resigned from the position of columnist from the Sydney Morning Herald. He was forced into this action after learning that he would be suspended from the position.   The furor arose after Mike Carlton wrote a scathing article criticizing the Israeli invasion of Gaza and the killing of hundreds of civilians.
