The Lebanese Muslim Association’s The Brothers’ Circle returned for its third series on Wednesday 9 September, and the opening night set the tone immediately – record numbers, an exceptional guest speaker and an enthusiastic gathering of brothers with a common purpose.

Series 3 at Lakemba Mosque launched with the biggest turnout since the program for new Muslim (convert/revert) brothers was first mooted well over 12 months ago.

LMA Religious Affairs Administrator Salim Allouche described the night as a milestone.

“The opening of Series 3 at Lakemba Mosque drew a record turnout – alhamdulillah, the biggest gathering since The Brothers’ Circle was launched last year,” Mr Allouche said.

“A big thank you to everyone who came along and made the night so special.”

“And a very special thanks to our guest speaker, Dr Tarek Sari, respected community figure, founder of The Back Specialist and Sydney Muslim Cyclists and the major driving force behind the Makkah to Madinah Cycling Challenge.”

Dr Tarek Sari, founder of The Back Specialist and co-founder of Sydney Muslim Cyclists.

“Dr Tarek’s screening of the documentary and his Q&A kept everyone engaged and on behalf of the LMA, I’d like to thank him for his ongoing over all three series of The Brothers’ Circle.”

The momentum continued the following week, with dynamic, young community leader and businessman Jayden Kowaider addressing the gathering on Wednesday, 16 September.

High profile social media figures, Br Musa Stranger and Br Chris Primod, both longtime converts to Islam, have also been slotted in to speak over the next month or so.

The Brothers’ Circle has come a long way since its early days.

Series 1, which kicked off in October 2025, established the concept.

Series 2, which launched in April 2026, attracted a string of high-calibre guests including Lakemba Mosque’s Sheikh Yahya Safi and Sheikh Jamal Ud-Din El-Kiki, Bachir Zreika, director of The Tax Factor, and Aladdin Elmir and Dean Mousad, co-founders of both Project Qur’an and Brothers In Need, to name just a handful.

Br Jayden Kowaider is the founder of Build Alpha Kids.

Series 3 is already shaping up to surpass both.

The Brothers’ Circle meets every Wednesday night at Lakemba Mosque.

New Muslims, lifetime Muslims after a ‘refresher’ and those curious about Islam are all warmly invited to attend.
