As Malek Fahd Islamic School prepares to welcome the blessed days of Eid Al Adha, the school reflects on the warmth and connection shared earlier this year during its Eid Al-Fitr Celebration Dinner, which brought together alumni, staff and members of the wider MFIS community.
Held in a spirit of gratitude and reunion, the evening gave alumni the chance to reconnect with former classmates, teachers and friends while sharing memories from their time at the school. Conversations filled the room as guests reflected on their journeys since graduation and the lasting impact their school years continue to have on their lives.
Distinguished alumni also shared personal reflections and experiences, offering insight, encouragement and advice to younger graduates and attendees. Their stories reminded many in the room of the strong sense of identity and belonging that continues long after learners leave the classroom.
During the gathering, one alumnus shared, “It just feels like you’re reconnecting with your roots and reminding yourself of the journey of life. You know where you came from and where you’re heading.”
The comment resonated with many attendees and reflected the atmosphere throughout the evening as graduates from different generations reconnected and strengthened bonds formed during their years at MFIS.
Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.”
(Quran, Surah Aal-Imran 3:103)
As the MFIS alumni network continues to grow, the school encourages all past and present alumni to remain connected through the MFIS Alumni Community Portal.
The portal provides alumni with a dedicated space to stay updated on school news and events, reconnect with fellow graduates and remain part of the wider MFIS community.
Malek Fahd Islamic School extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who attended the The Eid Celebration Dinner and contributed to such a memorable gathering.
All MFIS alumni are invited to register through the alumni portal and continue strengthening the connections that make the MFIS community special.
