Thousands of attendees gathered at the ICC Sydney Theatre in support of the ‘Palestine Unites Us’ cultural and fundraising event, headlined by world-renowned Palestinian singer Mohammed Assaf, on Saturday 24 January 2026.
Prominent Palestinian voices, including ER doctor and humanitarian, Dr Mohammed Mustafa, and author, Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah, participated in a panel at ‘Palestine Unites Us’ event in Sydney to garner support for Palestine Children’s Relief Fund Australia (PCRF Australia) – a nonprofit organisation dedicated to delivering free, life-saving medical care to Palestinian children.

The landmark event marked PCRF Australia’s first major fundraiser, ushering in broader recognition and support for the organisation, which was recently established in 2025.
Produced by Tales of a Homeland (TOAH), ‘Palestine Unites Us’ brought together cultural expression and humanitarian action in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis affecting Palestinian children, particularly in Gaza.
Proceeds from event ticket sales will support PCRF Australia’s work in sending volunteer medical teams to Palestine and refugee camps in the region, delivering essential medical equipment sourced across Australia to local healthcare providers, and facilitating the medical evacuation of children who are unable to receive urgent or specialised treatment in their home communities.
