In the months of June and September 2024, a groundbreaking event took place at the largest Islamic School of Queensland, the Australian International Islamic College (AIIC) in Durack, Brisbane, as the Australian Community Development Program (ACDP) unveiled its highly anticipated Future Guardians Program.
This inaugural school incursion marks a resounding progress for AIIC, signalling a significant leap towards empowering high schoolers and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
It was a joy to deliver the program to the highly disciplined and receptive cohort of AIIC high schoolers who strongly reflect the Islamic Value of Akhlaq (Ethical Character). We acknowledge the incredibly agile, professional and highly competent AIIC staff, and their progressive leader Mr. Mohammed Azhari.

A Three-Step Service Plan
The Future Guardians Program is meticulously designed around ACDP’s three-step service plan, ensuring that students receive comprehensive learning and support to begin their career pathway.
1. Education
At the heart of the Future Guardians Program is a unique educational approach. ACDP has developed a real-world curriculum over its own LMS that not only informs but also empowers students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in public service careers. This programme stands out due to its focus on measurable outcomes, ensuring that the educational strategies translate into real-world success.
Proposed School incursion: Future Guardians Program
Preparing high schoolers to become competent workforce through careers available straight at high school.
· Total 4 sessions (on-campus) for Year 10 to Year 12 students i.e. 1 Session per term
· Total 2 sessions (on-campus) for Year 7 to Year 9 i.e. 1 Session per term for the first half of the academic year
· Each session of 1-2 hours based on the content by qualified and highly experienced trainers
· Continuous engagement and support to College Career Advisors/ Guiding Officers with ACDP AI tools.
· Assistance with Career Expos, Potential Partnerships with Govt departments, improved Enrolments
2. Career Guidance
Understanding the complexities of career planning, ACDP provides high-quality research into the best available work opportunities within the public sector. The ACDP Career Guide is a treasure trove of information, offering insights into roles that require minimal experience and are currently accessible. This guide serves as a bridge, connecting students with viable career pathways and addressing the critical gap between education and employment for our high schoolers.
3. Job Application Tools
ACDP has considered all aspects of a job application and developed tools necessary to address it effectively. Tools which are based on the cutting-edge AI technology requiring minimal human intervention to provide your students with guidance, and support to thrive and reach their full potential. These include:
o Cover Letter Maker: Simplifying the creation of compelling cover letters with just a click.
o CV Builder: Leveraging AI for CV Generation to help students craft outstanding resumes that attract attention.
o Interview Coach: An AI-driven tool providing personalised, real-time feedback to help students excel in interviews.
o References Network: Access to a vast network of over 200 professionals across Australia, offering credible job references to boost employability.
