In the midst of pre-dominant, Western, and pro-Israeli media reporting a one-sided narrative, Zeteo is a platform which broadcasts transparent and unbiased picture of issues involving Muslims from a macro-to-meso level including global/international, national and culture-religious arenas.
Zeteo is one of those few broadcasting stations which is helping a common person in understanding the dilemmas not only through Muslim’s lens but also how the absence of their voices from mainstream is complicating and worsening various geo-political situations.
Similarly, what is happening in Palestine today is terrible and completely intolerable for the native Palestinians, but nothing new. It might have left the world in utter shock but it’s all the hyperbolic version of routine treatment that Palestinians are facing for the last 75 years.
From last several decades, Palestinians are forced to migrate from one place to another, their fields are regularly plundered, their kids were abducted, tortured, murdered and mutilated on a regular basis.
Their access towards clean water, food and healthy living conditions were prohibited, limited and on many occasions even blocked. All these aspects were a routine part of living in Palestine.
Palestinians’ resilience is exemplary. Despite facing near-impossible living conditions they have refused to leave their places. These people have discovered their pathways of surviving through hell.
But mainstream Western media has never showcased this aspect of their lives to world lest people understand the context of 7 October 2023. The suppressed, oppressed and abused Palestinians are facing the cost of their protest and reaction against the longstanding torture which resulted in genocide.
Zeteo, which is owned and founded by Mahdi Hasan is one of the few platforms of balanced representation in West. Western reporting which is mainly unilateral in its approach comprising upon Israeli narrative including excessive use of victim card admixed with accusations of antisemitism following (regular) template of Islamophobic language.
As al-Jazeera channel is receiving wider criticism from pro-Israeli mouthpieces for blatantly depicting and showing to the world the atrocities of IDF; Zeteo has risen as a global voice of suppressed people.
In the context of such sheer prejudice and discrimination, Zeteo is de-marginalising Muslim thoughts and situations by bringing their socio-political and religio-philosophical standpoints to the forefront.
Zeteo is intellectually pronounced and committed to reveal politico-economic interests of powerful states (causing hegemonic control) across the globe in taking the reins of mainstream chronicle.
Western news channels utilise specific and twisted language/communication style which subtly blames one side without using any overt statement.
This way of correspondence has major influence in shaping and devising the mindset of people to adapt skewed view of not only Israeli-Palestine conflict but overall global political circumstances in relation to Muslims without context, history, ethics and law.
