Canterbury Bankstown Council has opened a memorial space  for over 8000 innocent Palestinian civilians killed in Gaza, half of whom are children.

    The memorial space located at the Bankstown Library (80 Rickard Road, Bankstown)  near the flags at Paul Keating Park and will remain available for the community to place flowers, reefs, placards and words of prayer during this tragic time.

    “This Memorial is a place that rightfully acknowledges our community’s grief and hopefully a means to find comfort at this tragic and horrific time,” Councillor Khodr Saleh  Said.
