Just over a week since Shireen Abu Akleh was shot dead by Israeli soldiers and the story seems to have all but faded from the public consciousness. We can't let that happen. A journalist, an iconic journalist, was shot in the face doing her job. Accountability must be demanded.

I haven’t had the heart nor the courage to post a picture from the funeral. But here is one of my favorite pictures from that day. You were my Angel on earth and now my Angel in heaven, fly high Habibti 🕊🤍 #ShireenAbuAkleh #شيرين_أبوعاقلة #JusticeForShireen pic.twitter.com/nQJo2ElH8P

Al Jazeera tv Network is taking the israeli murder of #ShireenAbuAkleh to the prosecutor of the Int'l Criminal Court to get #JusticeForShireen https://t.co/Axp4wk6Ly8

Keep talking about Shireen. We want #JusticeForShireen pic.twitter.com/pQZqgCcrNO

34 rights groups including @GulfCentre4HR & @globalfreemedia call for justice for @AlJazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. In the absence of a credible criminal inquiry by Israel, @IntlCrimCourt
    must investigate. #JusticeForShireen https://t.co/4sfkWhmJXO

Shireen Abu Akleh's family asks that we do not stop talking about Shireen's deliberate murder by Israeli snipers. They, and all of us, demand #JusticeForShireen! pic.twitter.com/e8b3jfylMB

A reminder that in less than 10 days, Israel went from "Palestinian terrorists killed Shireen," to "She was armed with a camera," to "We don't know who killed Shireen" to "it might have been an Israeli soldier's gun" to "We will not investigate"#IsraeliCrimes #JusticeForShireen pic.twitter.com/ns05quJN3D

1/2. Since Shireen AbuAkleh's killing, 3 children have been shot dead by Israeli fire:

Amjad Al Fayed, 17, killed in Jenin.

Gaeeth Rafik Yamin, 16, killed in Nablus.

Zeid Gheneim, 15, killed in Bethlehem.

They deserve justice and the global outcry spurred by Shireen's death pic.twitter.com/fRHfBR3zyN

2/2. The systemic and widespread use of lethal force against Palestinians warrants a thorough independent investigation.

I trust @IntlCrimCourt will address this critical situation with the same promptness displayed in the commendable swift response in the case of Ukraine. pic.twitter.com/YiSBEjfGXv
